No one warns you in seminary about this one: sometimes the deepest wound in ministry doesn't come from the world outside the church — it comes from inside the flock.
This dropped into my email at precisely the right time. No kidding. It hasn't been one sheep biting but several key sheep biting all at once and creating division and chaos among the believers in the church. Spearheaded by one who has been faithful, highly trusted, loved and previously a great comfort & resource to the Body. NO ONE could imagine this person (of all people) would have stirred up such an attack. Several have thus far been carried off as if blinders have covered their eyes, and hearts are not responding to truth, or even grace. It is heart-wrenching. I appreciated this article in my grief.
PS -- When I first read the article on Substack, it was in typical written form, which I prefer. Now I can only find it as a video here & on Youtube. Where can I find it again in a written article format? If you have a link for that, could you send it? Blessings
